Heather Green, Owner | Registered Massage Therapist & Certified Yoga Therapist
Heather’s treatment style is a flowing Swedish massage with strategically placed pressure and focus. She addresses problem areas and the surrounding tissues – everything is connected.
She is happy to provide a soothing therapeutic massage to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep or get temporary relief from aches, pains and stiffness. She understands that sometimes, a break from constant discomfort can feel like a huge weight has been lifted – even if just for a few hours.
For those wanting to get to the roots of their symptoms, Heather has trained as a Certified Yoga Therapist. Massage provides fantastic relief, but the true medicine for persistent symptoms is movement.
Lorraine Robinson | Registered Massage Therapist
Since graduating from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2006, Lorraine has been practicing with the highest standard of massage therapy, remedial exercise and hydrotherapy.
Best known for her deep tissue therapy, Lorraine likes to assess and treat the body as a whole, as her philosophy is that the majority of pain can be traced back to postural faults. She is interested in osteopathy and fascial work, and takes courses in them to further her education.
Recently transplanted from Vancouver, Lorraine enjoys hiking with her dog, reading the classics and learning to play the piano, ukulele and mandolin.
Alison Nowak | Registered Massage Therapist
Alison might seem like a free spirit but when it comes to massage therapy she is all business. It’s not uncommon to find Alison on the floor demonstrating a particular stretch or exercise. She strongly believes in preventative therapy and encourages an active lifestyle. Alison leads by example; you’ll often find her on the mountain, in a yoga class, or stretching in a doorframe.
Gina DiMenna | Registered Massage Therapist
We are please to announce that Gina DiMenna will be joining BodyWell while Alison is on maternity leave!
MASK POLICY: Please note during your treatments with Gina, you will be asked to keep your mask on in the treatment room. Gina will always be wearing a mask throughout your appointment. Thank you for your cooperation.
Gina’s approach to massage is to put the clients needs first, to meet them where they are in their health journey. She will use a variety of techniques from light relaxation to deeper tissue treatment depending on individual needs and tolerance to treatment. She uses movement, active release work and stretching when appropriate.
She believes that open communication, education and body awareness can be key to recovery.
